Description

Officer's saber of the Caucasian type. Total length - 965mm. Blade length with hilt (without sheath) 944mm. Blade length without handle - 795 mm. The blade width at the heel is 32 mm. Sheath length - 822mm. The handle is made of silver and decorated with filigree. The wooden scabbard has been restored and is completely sheathed in silver. The Damascus steel blade has two longitudinal grooves. On one side it has a stamp with Arabic text. Decorated with gilded Arabic text on both sides. This saber is placed on the cover of the book “Blade on the Carpet”, where there is a large article about it. DELIVERY IS NOT PROVIDED FOR THIS LOT, ONLY SELF-PICKUP IS POSSIBLE.; Condition-I-II
